Not only do you get the Independent coil, you also get 1 and a quarter inch of convoluted memory foam that is great for minimizing pressure points and another inch and a half of block memory foam that is not only good for pressure points, it's also great for minimizing how much you feel your partner next to you. With a comfort life expectancy of 12 years and a comfort scale rating of 8.5 this is a great mattress for someone looking at getting into a softer feeling Pillowtop.
I would highly recommend the Duskywing Plush Euro Pillowtop to anyone wanting a good soft Pillowtop mattress. The Duskywing would be a great addition to any master bedroom. I would not recommend this mattress for a guest room because it may be too soft for some of your guests.
