We've been fortunate in our business history and therefore enjoy the opportunity to provide assistance to charitable organizations seeking mattresses and bed furniture.
We offer the following types of assistance:
New Product At Our Cost:
We will sell any mattress, furniture or bedding product at our invoice cost. We can also arrange for shipping at our cost.
Returned Mattresses For Free:
As part of our regular retail service, we may pick up customers' existing mattresses when delivering a new mattress. In some cases, the mattress is in good condition as the customer is upgrading for comfort, size, etc. Mattresses suitable for further usage are available at no charge from our facility. Any mattress not donated, and all mattresses in poor condition, are scrapped through a recycler where all the foam and cotton will be stripped and used as commercial blown insulation, and the steel coil unit will be sold as 100% recyclable steel scrap. It is against the law to re-sell a used bed, and we are a law-abiding company.
Requirements:
To be eligible for either donation program, you must be a IRS recognized 501 (3) charitable organization. You will be asked to provide your IRS listed organization name and tax ID number. Please also provide any and all relevant info (contact, web site address, nature of request, etc.) to: donation@us-mattress.com
We are not able to provide this service to individuals or non-recognized organizations.
