Beautiful not durable

This set was beautiful when it arrived. The colors and
pattern were exactly what I had hoped for. it was comfortable and
warm and looked great on our bed. Unfortunately within 6 months it
started to thread and now after a year it looks terrible with thick
yarn threads flying from all the deep purple sections. We are going
to replace it because it looks so shabby after only one year,
pretty disappointing for the price point.
