open larger image »ABOUT THIS MATTRESS Expert Review By TonyThe Akerman Plush is very similar to the Hope Mills Plush but with denser foam that makes the mattress feel a touch harder. This mattress does not have anything in it that would make a considerable difference from the Hope Mills Plush. I would say that with how close this mattress feels to the Hope Mills Plush, the Hope Mills Plush would be a better value.
The Akerman Plush is the same as the Hope Mills Plush. The only difference between the two are the Akerman Plush use's some convoluted foam and use's Sealy foam instead of super soft Sealy Foam. The Sealy foam only make's the mattress harder. The only way I would recommend this mattress over the Hope Mills Plush is if you think a 6 on our comfort scale is too soft and you want something just a touch softer.
I would highly recommend looking into the Hope Mills Plush because it is a better value. The Akerman Plush has the same 786 coil count, the same 3X visco pressure relief inlay and the same Unicased XT edge support. The Akerman is just harder and only by .5 . There is nothing about the Akerman Plush that would make me spend the extra money.
