Serta Mattress Comparison Guide

Don't Let Names Confuse You

Comparing Serta models from store to store can be confusing. Larger retailers demand their own model names from the manufacturers in an attempt to prevent the consumer from comparison shopping and negotiating lower prices.

To compare models, first find out how many coils are in the mattress and whether it has a foam encased edge. Since coil count and edge support are a key part of mattress selling, every retailer is ready to provide this information. Then match the coil system with the mattress style (firm, pillow soft, firm euro top, plush euro top, ultra cushion top or pillowtop). Finally, compare the mattresses with the same coil level for a key comfort material such as, Visco Memory Foam or Latex.
