This Classic Beautyrest model is a pillowtop, but not overly soft like alot of pillowtops. We have given this model a rating of a 5.5 which is pretty middle of the road. It is not too firm, and not too soft. I would suggest this model for any use really, whether it's for a guest room, child or adult use. This is the entry level pillowtop from Classic Beautyrest and is a great model, yet at a very affordable price.
The Beautyrest system is a wonderful product that is the only innerspring to not transfer motion like other systems out there. Simmons individually pockets each coil to eliminate the transfer of motion. This is ideal for couples who work different shifts, toss and turn alot, or regularly sleep with kids or pets in their bed. The Classic Beautyrest innerspring system is made up of a 15 gauge wire, and provides 800 coils per queen set. The edge support uses 2 rows of a firmer 13 ¼ gauge coil that provides a better seating edge, and prevents roll-off.

I don't feel I'd wake up fresh every morning.. like I do in my old mattress.. .Comfort scale of 5.5 is still too soft... I have switched to 4.0 and hope it'll work out fine. |
