This is a very soft mattress because of the thickness of the summit top and the foams inside it. We have given this model a comfort scale rating of an 8, which is really plush and soft. I would recommend this model for anyone who likes a high end mattress and is looking for the very best in a soft feeling bed.
This is the true top of the line model in the Exceptionale collection. The coil system is a coil on coil design which is made up of two 4 inch coils on top of each other to give you firm support in the coils. The edge support is a great 360 degree foam encasement that provides a wonderful seating edge, and great roll-off protection.
This top end bed provides the best pressure point relief you will find in an innerspring mattress. This model has two layers and 5 total inches of talalay latex to add durability and excellent pressure point relief. Sleeps cool, soft and comfortable yet has plenty of back support. This is our second Simmons Beautyrest Exceptional featuring the Two Story Coil on Coil Design. Our first one (purchased in 2001) we moved to the spare bedroom. We still love this bed. I weigh over 300 lbs and after 7 years of use, this pillow top Two Story Coil on Coil bed has NO SAGGING! Don't let those mattresses salesmen talk you into cheaper mattresses. Their only concerned with how much money goes in their pocket, knowing they will sell more cheaper mattresses. Try beds out at Macys or Simmons store, find out what's in them, then buy online. All stores name there mattresses different names to throw you off, but if you do your homework its easy to figure out which bed is which. Take my word for it! This Latex Mattresses is Top Of The Line and not over priced if purchased online. Remember, Latex sleeps cool. Visco Memory Foam sleeps hot. One more note: 5 weeks from day of order till delivery but worth the wait. |

Reviewed by: Keith T (Strange, Utah) Review: This is our second Simmons mattress the last one the material was wearing out on it. It was a firm Simmons mattress approximately 35 years old. The people we gave it to told us how comfortable it was for them. I have had a broken back for years but also fell down my deck stairs and jacked my elbow and injured my hip. This is an awesome peace of equipment. I call it my caddy. Nice comfortable and cushy firm and stable, no pain on pressure points and no sinking in quick sand felling. |
