If you are looking for a mattress that is a little soft but still hard underneath the padding, the Cairo Plush Firm is an excellent choice.
The Cairo Plush Firm is a Beautyrest Classic with an 800 coil count and a motion separation rating of one. It is rated a 5 on our comfort scale, so it is a neutral feeling mattress. It's not too hard and not too soft. The Simmons Plush firm mattress have a very unique feel that comes from putting soft comfort materials on a 13 1/4 gauge coil which is thicker than the standard 15 gauge coil used by Simmons. The Cairo Push Firm is a very nice mattress and has been very popular in our local stores.
Simmons Beautyrest is known to some as the bowing ball bed because of their commercials. Simmons uses an individual coil system that helps to reduce the amount you feel your partner move around at night. The Simmons coil is also more conforming than other coil systems because the Simmons coil move independently of one another. This feature also helps Simmons give some relief to you pressure sensitive areas. This mattress would be great for anyone looking for a nice mattress that has a not too hard/not too soft feel. Now I just lay down with the tv OFF and within minutes I am fast asleep. Laying down on these mattresses is like being caressed and embraced and comforted by pure luxury. Highly recommended. We bought an expensive sleep number bed awhile back and didn't like it, mainly because of the memory foam (it made us hot). We were unsure about ordering a mattress on line but decided it was worth saving over $300 and having the option to return it if we didn't like it (our retail store here didn't offer this). We find it really comfortable and we don't wake each other up if we turn over. Shipping was great. We live in a rural area and there was no problems with it arriving late or damaged. We are very satisfied and would buy it again. |

The mattress is very comfortable--soft enough to sleep on my side but with firm support underneath. No adjustment was required at all. However, the mattress does not have block foam along the edges, so sitting on the side of the bed, e.g., to put on socks, doesn't work very well. Dealing with US-Mattress has been a terrific experience and I have already recommended it to others. |
