This mattress is an excellent buy for someone who likes a softer more comfortable feel. This is a pillowtop which is a separate sewn on top with more layers of foam inside to give you that extra plush feel. We have given this model a comfort scale rating of a 7, which is a fairly soft rating. This mattress is great for use of any age or any room. This is a wonderful buy for the money and I would recommend it for anyone liking a soft mattress.
This model is a part of the Classic line of Beautyrest. These models all have the individually pocketed coils that Simmons is known for. These coils stop the transfer of motion that most innerspring mattresses create. The system is made up of a 15 gauge coil and has 800 coils per queen mattress. The edge support is 2 rows of a 13 ¼ gauge wire that prevent roll-off and gives you a better seating edge. This mattress comes with the same 10 year non-prorated warranty that all Simmons Beautyrest's innersprings have.
