The Dakar Plush is a step up from Bamako Plush. The Dakar Plush has more foam in it that give it a softer feel than the Bamako Plush. The Dakar Plush is a Beautyrest Classic with an motion separation index (MSI) of a 1. The MSI is a gauge of how much you will feel your partner move trough out the night. A MSI of 1 is the lowest MSI that Beautyrest offers. However, if you are going into a Beautyrest from a different brand, you will surely be able to tell the difference.
The Dakar Plush is a great starter mattress or nice for a guest room. By utilizing the Beautyrest Individual Pocketed Coil system the Dakar Plush gives contouring support while helping to minimize pressure points. I would recommend the Dakar Plush mattress to anyone trying to fill a guestroom or anyone trying to get into a reasonably priced Simmons Beautyrest Plush. I would like to reinforce the fact that the Dakar Plush is rated a 7.5 on our comfort scale so keep in mind that it is a very soft plush. Plus when you get in it sinks in, the sides stay high and the middle area sinks in. I now have back aches from this mattress. I'm not even overweight so you can imagine it if I were. I will replace as soon as I can afford to. Also took 4 weeks to receive. They state mattress is 12' it's not its 10'. |
