Although the Harare Plush is labeled a Plush, it is a pretty hard mattress. The Harare Plush is rated a 4 on our comfort scale which is harder than a lot of the Simmons Plush Firm mattresses. The reason the Harare Plush feels harder is because of the coil on coil system. In the Harare plush the coil on coil system uses a 13 1/4 gauge coil on the bottom and a 15 gauge coil on the top. By doing this you get a little bit of a different feel. When you first lay down you feel the softer coil but once settled you can really feel the thicker coil. The Harare Plush also has memory foam for added duribility and pressure point reduction. Keep in mind that even though memory foam is good at reducing pressure points, this is a harder feeling mattress and it could still aggravate pressure sensitive areas on your body.

I would recommend Harare Plush to someone looking for a harder feeling mattress, If you are looking for something a little softer you should look at the Tallinn Plush which is rated a 5 on our comfort scale or you could look at the Menasha Plush which is rated a 6 on our comfort scale.
