This mattress is ideal for anyone wanting a good quality high end mattress for a great price. This is a firm model that we have given a comfort scale rating of a 2.5. This is fairly firm mattress, but with the pillowtop you get some give in the mattress. It also provides a layer of visco memory foam to help relieve some pressure points as well.
This is a World Class model which provides several upgrades over the Classic Beautyrest line. The edge support is beefed up to a 360 degree 3 inch foam encasement that gives you a solid seating edge, and prevents well against roll-off. The individual pocketed coils are made of a 15 gauge steel wire, and have a higher coil count of 980 coils to each queen mattress. These coils are the only and best at providing motion separation so you don't feel your partner's movement. The quilt is made of natural stretch knit fiber as well. The warranty is a 10 year non pro-rated one against sags 1 ½ inch or deeper and any defects.

Rating:  Summary: Not really accurate Comfort Scale Rating Reviewed by: Glenn (NJ) Review: One would think 2.5 is very firm but the truth is you sink into this mattress due to the Pillowtop and Visco combination. Loved the mattress at first because it was luxurious, comfortable and quite high. The truth is during the night I find myself climbing to a higher part of the bed because you really sink down into this. My wife had the exact experience and we're both slim people. If you are a stomach sleeper, it actually starts to hurt your lower back. Now we are looking to exchange these for something more firm. |
