This model is one for people without back problems and who like a super soft bed. We have given this mattress a comfort scale rating of a 9, which is about as soft as it gets. This would be an ideal model for someone with major pressure point issues that needs a very plush bed. There are several layers of foam in the pillowtop, including a layer of latex to give you that extra pressure point relief.
The World Class collection is an excellent collection, and the most popular selling line in our local stores. This collection has several great features to provide a wonderful feel, while still providing great support. The great support comes from the individual pocketed coil system that Simmons is known for. These pocketed coils reduce motion transfer far more than any other innerspring product out there. The edge support is excellent as well, giving you a great seating edge as long as preventing from roll-off. The quilt is made up of all natural stretch knit fibers to give a great feel on top, and to protect from ripping. What a disappointment, the mattress is thicker and higher at the foot of the bed and our heads are lower (you can feel the blood follow to your head. Also your buttocks will sink (like a sink hole) and your legs are much higher the rest of your body. I notice this from day 1 and now it is being replaced by the Simmons Co. It also leaves body impression and I only weigh 133 lbs. at 5'8' tall. I was so disappointed after all the research that I did before buying this mattress. I would buy another Simmons mattress but not this one. I wish I could of written a positive review. |

I have a degenerative spine disease and pressure points are a killer. Finally purchased this mattress. For the first 2 months, I was in heaven. Now the pillow top has compressed to the point that I'm getting the hammock effect and my back is hurting again. I'm 5'4' and weight 129. It's not like there's a lot of stress on this mattress. I am SO disappointed!! |
