The Casper Wave Hybrid is the most luxurious and supportive model that Casper makes, while the Element is the most basic, budget-friendly model. The Casper Original is slightly firmer than the Wave Hybrid and Casper Hybrid which have more of a plush top layer.
Casper Original (Most Popular): The Original Casper mattress is the first mattress model Casper ever sold and is still the most popular model to this day. The Casper mattress combines various foam layers to create a bed that is breathable and responsive, making it a great choice for both hot sleepers and combination sleepers. This foam bed utilizes zoned support to offer pressure relief on the hips and shoulders. At a medium firmness level, the Casper provides nearly perfect spinal alignment, which is especially great for side sleepers but benefits stomach sleepers and back sleepers alike.

Casper Hybrid (Best Value): The Casper Hybrid mattress is one of the highest-scoring hybrid mattresses Mattress Advisor has ever tested. The folks over at Casper decided to add a pocketed coil system to their original Casper model. The result? A mattress that has the contouring pressure relief of memory foam and the support and bounce of a coil spring system. The Casper Hybrid scored particularly well in motion transfer, edge support, spine alignment, responsiveness, and durability, making it a bed that gives you the most bang for your buck.
Casper Wave Hybrid (Best Overall): We named the Casper Wave Hybrid the best overall Casper mattress for a reason. Casper’s research and development team collected five years' worth of data and customer feedback to design the Casper Wave Hybrid. This mattress combines the foam ergonomic system of the Casper Wave, the ultra-supportive pocketed coil system of the Casper Hybrid, and an added layer of cooling and buoyant latex foam. Together, these layers make up the best performing, most luxurious Casper mattress yet that supports all sleeping positions. The layers of foam, latex, and springs also make the Wave Hybrid super durable, preventing sinkage for years to come.
Casper Element (Best Budget Option): The Element (formerly the Casper Essential) mattress lives up to its name with three basic foam layers that make up a simple, budget-friendly mattress. The top two foam layers are the same ones that make up the Casper Original mattress, providing pressure relief and responsiveness. The bottom layer is unique to the Casper Element and works as a supportive structural base, adding durability. One of the best mattresses under $500, it works well as a bed for your guest bedroom, your child or for anyone who’s on a tight budget.

How does Casper’s 100-night trial work?
Each Casper mattress comes with a 100-night risk-free trial. The trial period starts the day your Casper mattress is delivered to your door. From that day forward, you have 100 nights to sleep on your new bed and decide if it is right for you. If you would like to return your mattress during this period, simply contact customer service, and they will walk you through the return policy and process. A Casper representative will come and collect your mattress and donate it, all at no cost to you. You should receive your refund after pickup is confirmed.
What sizes are Casper mattresses available in?
All Casper mattresses come in six different sizes including: twin, twin xl, full, queen, king, and California king.
How long will it take for my Casper mattress to be delivered?
Every Casper mattress ships for free to the continental US and should arrive at your door between 2-7 business days.
Does Casper offer white glove delivery?
Yes! Casper provides white glove delivery for a fee of $100. When you choose white glove delivery, you will pick a 4-hour delivery window for your mattress to arrive. Casper representatives will bring the mattress to your door, set it up in your bedroom, and remove any debris when they are finished. If you would like them to remove and dispose of your old mattress, it will cost an additional $50.
Will I need to be home when my mattress is delivered?
It depends. If you decide to purchase white glove delivery and mattress removal, yes, you must be home during delivery. However, if you do not opt for this service, you do not have to be home. Just make sure to uncheck the “signature required” box if you do not wish to wait for the delivery team.
How long will it take to break in my new Casper mattress?
Breaking in a new mattress can take up to 30 days. During the break-in period, your body gets used to the mattress constriction while the mattress fully takes its shape. This is why it is advised not to make a return until at least a month after purchase.
Are the Casper mattresses eco-friendly?
All of the foams used in each Casper mattress are CertiPUR-US certified. This means they have undergone testing and are made without heavy metals, flame retardants, formaldehyde, or ozone depleters, and they emit low VOC levels, meaning minimal off-gassing.
Does Casper offer financing options?
Casper has partnered with Affirm to bring you various financing options. To finance your Casper mattress, simply apply at checkout. Upon approval, choose from a plan of 3, 6, or 12 months. Financing is only valid on orders in the US that are over $350. It is unfortunately not available in West Virginia or Iowa.
Casper has established itself as a leader in the bed-in-a-box industry. They also sell other sleep and bedding products, such as sheets, quilts, night lights, and dog beds. Buying a Casper mattress is simple. First, find your preferred mattress model online. After you place your order, your new mattress will arrive at your door in a matter of days. Then, you’ll have 100 nights to decide if your new Casper is right for you. If not, you can return it for a full refund. You can also find Casper products in pop-up shops and showrooms across the US. The Casper mattresses are plentiful and diverse.
The Original Casper mattress, the favorite Casper model among customers thanks to its zoned support and open-cell technology, keeps you cool and supported.
The Casper Hybrid elevates the Casper Original by adding bouncy and supportive pocketed coils that make the mattress more durable and edge support more abundant.
The Casper Wave Hybrid is a triple threat, using foam, coil, and latex layers to create a luxury mattress perfect for anyone.
Finally, the Casper Element is great for anyone on a budget who doesn’t want to sacrifice quality.
With all of the different mattress options and benefits, there is a Casper mattress for every type of sleeper and budget -- whether you prefer simple or luxury, memory foam or hybrid, or are a back, stomach or side sleeper.
