Extra Firm, But With Some Initial Padding
by Jed HarringtonThe Beautyrest BRX1000 IP Extra Firm King Size Mattress has a very dense underlying feel, similar to what you may expect from an extra firm model, but the initial padding contours better than most extra firm models I've tried. If you want to find the firmest feel possible, this may not be the best choice for you, but if you want firm comfort that’s not hard, this mattress has a lot to offer.
3 Out of 10 On Our Comfort Scale
A mattress that has a Comfort Scale score of 3 out of 10 (10 being the softest) feels firm to very firm, but it’s not very hard. When you’re sleeping on your back, this mattress will contour well, but it will still provide you with a very firm underlying feel.
