The Restonic Comfort Care Select Cameron Firm has a Comfort Scale rating of 3 and is good for people who like a firm mattress with enough padding to feel comfortable. I recommend this mattress for back and stomach sleepers, but side sleepers will probably want something a bit softer to avoid discomfort.
The Cameron Firm has a number of nice features that are designed to promote proper sleep -- such as the 1.5-inch quilt with Marvelous Middle. The Marvelous Middle is a reinforced center third that provides more support to the lower back and promotes better contouring to the hips and shoulders. The main comfort layer is a layer of Cool-Gel Memory Foam, which combines premium memory foam with gel to help reduce tossing and turning through enhanced pressure relief and provide a more substantial and supportive feel than memory foam alone. It's very durable and helps the mattress retain its showroom feel for a longer period of time; plus, it does a good job reducing motion transfer between couples. Back support is provided through a tempered pocketed coil system that contours to the lower back, hips, and shoulders very well even as it promotes proper spinal alignment and alleviates disturbance between partners. The tempered steel construction is very durable and helps contribute to the 15-year non-prorated warranty. The edge support is fairly solid and allows you to sleep all the way to the edge without noticing a big difference in comfort or support.
Overall, the Cameron is a nice choice if you want a mattress that has a generous amount of gel memory foam, and if you enjoy a firm but not hard comfort level. The Cameron is one of the better values in this line because of the high amount of premium comfort materials but at a more affordable price.
