Pressure Test Results

We pressure tested the Trust mattress with small/petite, average and big/large body size people on their sides and on their back sleeping positions to measure the support and comfort. (Learn how we test.) The Trust II Hybrid tested great for all sleepers. In all cases, the mattress distributed bodyweight well with little to no pressure points.

The Trust mattress performed very well during testing, 4 out of 6 body sizes/sleeper positions rated a super solid ‘Recommend’ and the other 2 positions were a respectable ‘Good’. The Trust mattress provided sufficient contouring and support to minimize pressure points. Pressure points cause you to toss and turn, preventing restful uninterrupted sleep.

In terms of the overall construction, the mattress performed well. It lacks the cooling materials and zoned support of the other Hybrid models from Sealy. But in terms of the basic mission of any mattress, it did a great job.

Warranty

The Sealy Trust II Hybrid mattress comes with a 10-year warranty for factory defects.

Conclusion

The Sealy Trust II Hybrid mattress tested pretty well. We give the mattress a ‘Recommend’ for 4 of the 6 body size/sleeping positions and ‘Good’ on the others. And being the lowest price in Sealy’s Hybrid Collection, it’s a great value. It sufficiently contours and supports all body sizes on back and side sleeping positions.

The mattress does have a gel memory foam layer, but it does not have the extra cooling cover or extra cooling materials found in the more expensive models. Nor does it have the zoned support, although you can see from these test results that it does a superb job without.

This mattress is a solid choice if you’re looking for a good value in a medium-firm feeling hybrid mattress. If extra cooling material is important, then you could consider the more expensive models.
