The Beautyrest Black Desiree Plush has a great all around feel, and a relatively low price point, which makes it one of the better values to be found in the Black collection. With a medium Comfort Scale rating of 5.5, this mattress is designed to provide a great blend of body contouring and deep-down support.

Like other Beautyrest Black models, key features start right in the quilt with the Surface Cool Plus Fiber. Surface Cool uses Tencel to help regulate body temperature as you drift off to sleep. The padding layers are all high-quality, CertiPUR-US certified foams, such as GelTouch and Micro Diamond Memory Foam. These padding layers do a great job of helping prevent tossing and turning by enhancing pressure relief. GelTouch has a more substantial overall feel, and Micro Diamond Memory Foam helps control body temperature by using diamond particles that conduct heat away from the sleep surface. The back support system is the top-of-the-line 850 Series Beautyrest Variformed Advanced Pocketed Coil System. This individually pocketed system contours well to the curves of the body and features a braided "cable coil" design for extra support and durability. It's great for couples because it helps minimize motion transfer, and is adjustable base friendly. The 360-degree foam encased edge is sturdy and does a great job ensuring consistent comfort while preventing roll-off.

Overall, if you like a mattress that's soft enough to contour to your lower back but has a firm underlying feel, the Beautyrest Black Desiree Plush may be perfect for you. This mattress is made well and comes backed by a 10 year warranty.
