If you like a medium-firm feel and want to keep your cost relatively low, the Spring Air Back Supporter Perfect Balance Alexis Plush is a decent choice. This mattress has a Comfort Scale rating of 4.5 and is designed to provide enough padding to be comfortable, but still have a very firm underlying feel. While this mattress has a lot going for it, if you’re interested in this one, I highly recommend taking a look at the Spring Air Back Supporter Perfect Balance Sophia Plush instead. They’re incredibly similar, but the Sophia is a better value in my opinion.

Key features include a layer of Visco Memory Foam for comfort, pressure relief, and motion separation. Visco is great at reducing pressure points for a more comfortable night’s sleep. It’s also very durable, and it’s good for couples because of its ability to reduce the movement felt if one person moves. The comfort flex foam layer is the main difference between this model and the aforementioned Sophia, again, not a big difference in my opinion. Both models feature the high-quality Zoned Alternating Coil system that provides very solid support to the lower back. The foam-encased edge is nice and does a good job allowing you to sleep anywhere on the mattress without noticing a big difference in comfort.

Overall, the Spring Air Back Supporter Perfect Balance Alexis Plush is a good mattress, but I think you would do just as well by going with the Sophia. Both are good choices, but the Sophia saves you bit of money for similar performance.
