All Spring Air mattresses have a 10-year warranty against factory defects.
Spring Air originated many mattress designs and features now used by leading competitors. Francis Karr, the founder, came up with the free-end double offset coil design. This design uses progressive resistance, which adjusts to meet each sleeper’s comfort needs. This became the most copied design in the industry and was only the beginning of how they would shake things up.
Spring Air started the trend of using a quilted surface, rather than a button-top. In the '50s, they introduced the Health Center mattress. It was the first design with separate support zones for different areas of the body. Spring Air also introduced the pillow top mattress in 1973, which has become a staple feature in the industry.
Spring Air is a global brand, with 8 domestic factories and 35 international licensees. They operate in 43 countries around the world.
Under the Spring Air umbrella is a luxury brand called Chattam & Wells. Read our Chattam & Wells Mattress Review to learn more about it.
Do I need to flip my Sleep Sense Hybrid Plus mattress?
No, Spring Air mattresses are built from the bottom up and are not designed to be flipped. If you like to rotate your mattress every so often, you can do that.
Can I finance my Sleep Sense Hybrid Plus mattress?
Absolutely! On the US-Mattress site, you can finance a Sleep Sense Hybrid Plus mattress with Synchrony HOME, Affirm, or Paypal.
How does the 120-night trial period work?
Try the mattress for at least 30 days, and up to 120 nights. If you don't like it, you can exchange it for a different mattress. You'll have to pay a $139 processing fee and a restocking fee equal to 10% of the purchase price (the restocking fee will not exceed $250).
Can I test the Sleep Sense Hybrid Plus in stores?
Yes! If you're located in Michigan, find a US-Mattress store near you to test the Sleep Sense Hybrid Plus mattress. Otherwise, call a local mattress store to check if they have the Sleep Sense Hybrid Plus mattresses in their store for you to test.
There are certain things to consider when buying a mattress, most importantly if it'll provide you with the proper support and pressure relief to help you get a great night of sleep. These beds perform very well in those two main areas but there are some other qualities to assess when deciding whether to buy one or not.

Spring Air Sleep Sense Hybrid Plus mattresses are made with gel memory foam and HiLo Encased Coils to cradle your pressure points and reduce motion transfer. This provides pressure relief and back support.
These are premium Sealy mattresses and have high-quality comfort layers. The coil systems are very good, they have encased coils that provide precise, contouring support. There's edge support to make the entire surface sleepable and the edge better for sitting on.
The layers of memory foam normally found in a memory foam mattress and the support system that is normally found in an innerspring mattress make these great mattresses for back sleepers, stomach sleepers, and side sleepers. These mattresses are great for hot sleepers because the gel memory foam provides a cool sleeping surface.
As long as you find one that suits your preferences, I'd recommend these beds as a high-quality option that provides comfortable support. Spring Air is a trusted brand that's been around for a long time.
