Pressure Test Results

We’ve pressure tested the Cloud Supreme Breeze mattress with different body sizes and sleeping positions to see what kind of support and comfort you can expect. (Learn how we test.) We do this test on all mattresses and it’s rare for a mattress to score this well in all sleeping positions and body sizes. The Supreme Breeze rated Recommend across the board. It distributes body weight superbly on the back and sides for all body types. This helps provide body contouring support and minimizes pressure points that cause you to change position and move interrupting your sleep. In testing, the peak pressures were so low the charts show no red spots of high pressure. And the average pressures were also in the best ranges.

More about Tempur-Pedic

Tempur-Pedic created the memory foam mattress category here in the U.S. Founded in 1992, they continually grew until they became a household name and large enough to buy the Sealy Mattress Company. They’re now a public company called Tempur-Sealy and sell mattresses worldwide.

There are 2 important points of differentiation vs other foam mattresses. First, Tempur-Pedic actually designs and manufactures their foam components and mattresses. This speaks to their degree of expertise (most foam mattress brands buy components from suppliers).

Secondly, Tempur-Pedic has always created premium products. As in any industry, there are companies that make cheaper priced, lower quality products, and those that make higher quality, higher priced products. Tempur-Pedic has always made higher quality mattresses using premium materials and manufacturing standards. The success of their mattresses, and long running reputation for quality, propelled their company to be the largest in the world.

The Cloud Supreme Breeze is a really good mattress that we recommend. First of all, it’s a medium feeling mattress we rated 6 out of 10 on our Comfort Scale and will appeal to most people. Secondly, it pressure tested excellently across all body sizes and sleeping positions earning a Recommend in every case. The combination of the medium feel, and how it conforms and distributes body weight so well, make this a great mattress for pretty much everybody. The superior weight distribution and lack of pressure points will help you sleep uninterrupted and therefore deeper and more soundly.

This model also has the Breeze cooling materials built into the mattress to lessen the heat build-up that can occur in memory foam mattresses. This premium feature also increases the price of the mattress so it’s on the more expensive side. Our only negative is the price, really. Otherwise, if you’re looking for a memory foam mattress this is a very good one.
