Beautyrest Harmony Lux Hybrid is a line of hybrid mattresses featuring SEAQUAL technology. It's broken out into two series, the Empress Series and the Trilliant Series. Read about the key features and specifications, as well as other information to help you decide if you should buy a Harmony Lux Hybrid mattress.
Harmony Lux Hybrid falls in the mid to upper range of Beautyrest collections, similar to the innerspring collection, Harmony Lux.
Beautyrest Harmony Lux Hybrid are hybrid mattresses with layers of memory foam and a pocketed coil system. The T2 Pocketed Coil Technology features individually wrapped dual-strand coils and adds extra support to the center of the mattress with an alternating coil.
Harmony Lux Hybrid mattresses are a mix of the memory foam and innerspring mattress types due to the fact that they have a coil system while also featuring several different layers of memory foam.
There are a variety of foams used in these mattresses to provide different comfort levels, including Micro Diamond Memory Foam, Beautyrest Gel Memory Foam, Dynamic Response Memory Foam, and a few others.
Each bed features a cooling system in the quilt top, SEAQUAL fabric technology (made from recycled ocean debris), T2 Pocketed Coil Technology, and a BeautyEdge foam encased edge. You can expect precise support, cool sleep, and enhanced pressure relief from this collection. They are also adjustable base compatible, so you can use them on any bed frame you'd like.
This collection features six models in varying comfort levels - read a quick overview and "View Bed" to get more details. We will add recommendation charts once we pressure test this line.

The models in this collection have a few key features in common that I'll talk about in more detail. These include the support system, cooling technology, cover fabric, and edge support. The mattresses also feature different types of foam to achieve the various comfort levels.
T2 Pocketed Coil Technology
Individually wrapped coils provide precise support enhanced in the center of the mattress with an alternating coil design. This type of coil system also excels at dampening any movement from a partner. |
InfiniCool PlusFeatured in the Empress Series, this technology is made up of two cooling layers that give you a cool sensation to fall asleep with. |
InfiniCool MaxFeatured in the Trilliant Series, this triple-layer technology has two cool-to-the-touch layers and an inch of Micro Diamond Memory Foam which uses diamond particles to draw heat away from the body, keeping you cool all night. |
BeautyEdgeWith this foam encasement, the edge is reinforced which adds durability and makes the entire surface of the mattress sleepable. You can lay all the way to the edge without feeling like you might roll off the bed. |
SEAQUAL Technology FabricBeautyrest partnered with SEAQUAL to use recycled plastic to make cooling fabric which is used in every Harmony Lux mattress. The plastic is collected from the ocean and completely transformed into useful fabrics. |
You will get free delivery with an in-home set up as well as the removal of your old mattress when you buy a Beautyrest Harmony Lux Hybrid mattress.
With over 100 years of experience, Simmons is one of the biggest mattress companies in the US, especially after merging with Serta. They created the iconic Beautyrest brand, which has been well-received over the years.
Always advancing their products, they continue to create quality mattresses with the latest technology. From cooling to coils, they make sure to stay on top of the latest industry trends.
With this Harmony Lux Hybrid collection, they've added mid to upper range options in a variety of comfort levels for their customers looking for pressure relief, cooling, and support.
Beautyrest Harmony Lux Hybrid mattresses are mid-upper range hybrid mattresses with high-quality materials and respectable construction. From extra firm to ultra-plush, there's are six different comforts to choose from.
Talking features, there's plenty to like about this line. They've got cooling technology in place to give a fresh sensation that you can feel when you climb in bed, and that will continue managing the temperature throughout the night. Anyone who remembers the initial memory foam beds overheating issues knows how important this is. The SEAQUAL technology in the cover fabric is a more sustainable element, making use of recycled ocean debris. The foam encased edge is an important feature for couples (maximizes the sleep space), as well as for durability towards the edge.
Although we haven't pressure tested these mattresses yet, I expect them to perform very well. They have the makings of very comfortable and supportive mattresses, based on the support system and comfort layers. The T2 coil technology provides precise support, with alternating coils in the center of the mattress to ensure great back support. Since they're wrapped individually, they'll also dampen any movements you might feel if you sleep with a partner.
If you're looking for a hybrid mattress, you won't go wrong with one of these models. They'll last at least a decade and, in my opinion, feel amazing to sleep on. I look forward to seeing what customers think of these beds once they've been on the market a while longer.
