Type of Construction

Restonic mattresses come in all kinds of construction; traditional innerspring, hybrid, all-memory foam, or latex foam. Some models are also double-sided, which means you can flip them and sleep on the other side too.

Restonic Mattress Collections - An Overview

Scott Living corner

Scott Living - The Property Brothers worked with Restonic on this collection of upper-end mattresses. There are currently 8 innerspring models available. They all have tastefully understated covers and handles for easy moving.

These innerspring mattresses have Restonic’s Q5 Twin Support multi-zoned individually pocketed coils. The Cascade and Ambiance models also feature a second layer of micro coils providing extra support, comfort, and durability.

Comfort Care corner

Comfort Care - offers a large selection of 13 innerspring beds in a range of comforts. All the beds except one (Select Amherst Plush) are double-sided. This collection has a longer warranty of 15 years.

We see latex featured on many of these beds as a naturally anti-microbial comfort layer. There is also memory foam, gel memory foam, and cool-gel memory foam depending on the model.

Every bed in this collection features the Marvelous Middle, which adds increased support where most needed, at the center of the bed. This Restonic exclusive extends the durability of the mattress by preventing sagging.

Biltmore corner

Biltmore - This is a premium innerspring collection from Restonic and so it’s also well built with many luxury features, including very nice silk or cashmere covers. The coils are individually wrapped with a foam encasement for edge support.

The Biltmore Luxury beds include Talalay Latex and micro coils, which add a lot of comfort and durability.

These beds are not available at US-Mattress.

More on Select Restonic Mattress Features

Q5 Twin SupportQ5 Twin Support

Q5 Twin Support is actually a 5 zone individually wrapped coil innerspring support system. There are 5 different zones in the innerspring. The reference to “Twin” represents the 2 extra support zones under the hip and shoulder body regions.

Twin support provides extra support where it’s most needed and also helps to increase the durability and life of the mattress.

AlumiLast Memory FoamAlumiLast Memory Foam

Alumilast Memory Foam is infused with aluminum micro-fibers and provides exceptional pressure relief to combat tossing and turning.

AlumiLast also helps increase durability and airflow; for a cooler, more comfortable night's sleep.

MicroCoil Layer

MicroCoil Layer

MicroCoils add a second layer of 1,300 short innerspring coils to the mattress. The benefits include making the mattress more supportive and conforming than simply relying on the foam layers.

The MicroCoil layer also improves the durability of the mattress since they're made of steel coils rather than foam that breaks down over time.

Delivery Method

Restonic mattresses are available at select stores and online retailers, but not directly from Restonic. They are heavier and usually delivered by an in-home delivery team. Delivery is typically free to your front door with the option of in-home setup and old mattress removal for a fee.

More about Restonic

Restonic has been a nationally known mattress producer since 1938, so they’ve been making beds for a long time. As one of the largest mattress companies, they also have a wide assortment of models.

One key feature that they’ve kept for several decades is their “Marvelous Middle” which speaks to the reinforced support in the middle of the mattress. Over the years other mattress companies have followed this design, which speaks to its value. Restonic has also had a long association with Consumers Digest polling and has won their BestBuy award many times, including in recent years.

The Biltmore and Scott Living collections are newer brands under the Restonic umbrella. The Biltmore signifies luxury and quality with its connection to the Vanderbilt’s Biltmore Estate. The Scott Living brand represents a current and high-quality line of mattresses designed in partnership with the Scott Brothers of HGTV fame. These two new collections are testament to Resontic’s movement forward and into the future.

Conclusion

Restonic offers a wide variety of different materials, comforts, and price points. Their strength is in the mid to upper range where they pack a lot of feature value into the mattress.

We highlighted some of the best-rated Restonic mattresses higher up the page. Speaking more generally, they have some great features in a lot of their beds. They include a micro-coil layer in their higher-end mattresses and that’s a high-quality feature. They also have unique innovations such as the AlumiLast foam that infuses aluminum with memory foam to make their mattresses cooler and more durable.

The entry-level mattresses have a continuous Bonnell coil, which is not as good as the individually wrapped coils on their other beds. However, most low-priced beds on the market are similarly made and it is a very durable construction. It's just not as conforming and can have a lot of motion transfer if you sleep with a partner, kids, or a pet.

Another important thing to mention is that Restonic has a number of double-sided mattresses. Double-sided mattresses can be flipped for sleeping on both sides. Most mattress companies have moved away from this design because it costs more to make, but you can still find them among Restonic beds.

If you’re considering Restonic mattresses, you can take comfort in the fact that they’re good-quality mattresses that’ll help you sleep comfortably during the night. They have one of the longest warranties, especially in this price range, at 15 years. With a long track record and packing a lot of features for the price, you can’t go wrong with this company.
