The pressure test results were magnificent for the back sleepers as you can see by the 'recommended' rating that this bed earned below. Side sleepers didn't fare as well, however, earning the only 'not recommended' score for this bed in the 210-273 lb range. The bright red areas you see in the images below show where there's too much pressure which will lead to discomfort and even pain. Yellow areas show an increase in pressure from what's considered 'normal' while green areas show where the pressure relief is really good.

Right in the middle of the six 'CF' models of the iComfort collection, the CF3000 Medium mattress is one of the best. This is a medium-feeling mattress that will appeal to almost everyone. It has several layers of cooling technology as denoted by the three snowflakes stitched onto the foot of the bed. For a softer mattress, check out the plush option.

The Max Cold™ Cover is cool-to-the-touch, and the UltraCold System™ paired with Carbon Fiber Memory Foam works hard to absorb excess heat from your body, then channel it away, all while you sleep comfortably. It's noteworthy that we discovered during pressure testing that this bed is highly recommended for back sleepers, they get outstanding back support and pressure relief. It also does a decent job relieving pressure points for side sleepers.

The CF3000 Medium represents a considerable financial investment. While it's cheaper than the higher-end models, it's more expensive than the lower-end ones. I do think that the CF3000 Medium is one of the best CF models in the iComfort line, it's an excellent choice. You get multiple layers of cooling technology but pay less than the top end of this collection.
