The Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Luxury Ultra Plush Pillow Top Mattress is the top of three Cassatt Pillow Top models. We highly recommend this mattress because the test results were excellent and the mattress is made with premium features you'd expect in a luxury mattress.

Comfort Scale Rating

The Cassatt Luxury Ultra Plush Pillow Top mattress has a soft feeling we rate a 7 on our 10 point Comfort Scale (a 1 is very hard, 10 is super soft). This is a soft mattress, but not super soft. That being said, it'll appeal to people who like soft beds so if you like a medium or firm bed you'll want to consider other models.

Pressure Test Results

We physically tested the Lux Estate Cassatt Luxury Ultra Plush Pillow Top mattress in our testing facility with small, average, and large body size people on their sides and back sleeping positions. The Cassatt Luxury Plush Pillow Top mattress demonstrated exceptional results for all body sizes & sleeping positions. The actual pressure maps from the tests are below, and the colors blue and green are good, and yellow or red show higher levels of body pressure.

Small, medium, and large body types all showed very small pressure points, if any, which is really good because pressure can lead to tossing and turning as your body moves around in an effort to relieve pressure.  You can see there is no red (high pressure) and only a minimal amount of yellow, and in fact, most of the data shows blue and green (very low pressure.)

   Indulge HD memory foam is made by TempurPedic and it's a premium material memory foam. This advanced memory foam helps to softly cradle your body gently under the curves.

3. IntelliCoil Micro

   There is a layer of short, soft metal coils that are about 1 inch tall. The metal springs create a comfortable feeling under your body and since they're metal they'll keep the same feeling for a very long time.

4. IntelliCoil HD

   The IntelliCoil HD design features an outer coil that is soft when only lighter weight is put on it and an interior coil that's firmer to provide more support under your body under heavier weight. The design gives 20% more coils than traditional designs.

5. Precision Edge + Air Vents

   A very practical edge support system makes lets you comfortably sleep up to the edge of the bed. Airflow is enhanced with breathable pocketed sleeves.
