Serta iComfort CF1000 Medium Mattress Review

The iComfort CF1000 Medium mattress is the entry-level model in the iComfort collection by Serta. It has a few layers of cooling material just like the higher-end models but is cheaper than the other 5 beds in this collection.

The CF1000 Medium mattress is a medium comfort that we rate 5 on our 10 point Comfort Scale (a 1 is hard, 10 is softest). This mattress comfort will appeal to most people because it’s not too hard or too soft. On the other hand, if you prefer a softer or firmer feeling mattress then you'd probably like one of the other models in the iComfort collection.

We've pressure tested the iComfort CF1000 Medium mattress with small, average, and large body size people that laid on their sides and on their back sleeping positions to see what kind of support and comfort you can expect. (Learn how we test.) 

This mattress performed amazingly well during our pressure testing, it was scored as recommended for all body sizes and sleep positions! Despite this model being the entry-level 'CF' iComfort mattress it still has excellent support, body contouring, and pressure relief materials.

   The cover for this mattress is cool-to-touch which gives you a cooler feeling to help you drift off to sleep. This is the first layer of several that works to provide you with a temperature-neutral sleep environment.

2. 2. Carbon Fiber Memory Foam

   A  first-of-its-kind memory foam layer infused with carbon fiber for cooling as well as strength and resiliency. This system channels heat away from your body and provide exceptional strength for back and neck support.

3. 3. 3” EverCool® Fuze Gel Memory Foam

   This open-celled memory foam helps promote airflow, so you don’t have that hot, stuffy feeling when falling asleep. This foam also conforms to your body's curves for proper support and extra comfort. 

4. 4. Serta Balanced Support Foam

   The layer of support foam gives you conforming support for added pressure point relief. This is the first layer of the foundational foams that provide you with stability and comfort while contouring to your curves regardless of sleep position or body size.

5. 5. Serta Foam Core

   The core foam upon which the rest of the foam layers rests. This foam is the firm part of the bed, it's the foundation for the comfort materials in the top part of the bed which also gives you conforming support.
