Serta iComfort CF3000 Hybrid Plush Review

 Serta iComfort CF3000 Hybrid Plush

Updated February 10, 2020

The iComfort CF3000 Hybrid Plush mattress is the softest 'CF' hybrid model in the latest hybrid collection from Serta.  This is a brand-new model is Serta's latest hybrid collection so there's still some testing and research to be done, the official release isn't until mid-Spring.  I can't wait to get my hands on this mattress so I can run it through its paces, I expect it to test very well during our pressure testing.  In the meantime, please read the information that I've been able to compile for you so far:

Comfort Scale Rating

The CF3000 Hybrid Plush mattress is very soft comfort that we rate 9 on our 10 point Comfort Scale (a 1 is hard, 10 is softest). If your preference is a very soft bed then this mattress is an excellent choice. This extra soft comfort may feel uncomfortable for anyone who prefers a firm feeling bed and if so there are a few other 'CF' iComfort models that should be a better fit for you.

Here’s our quick Video Review. It highlights the features, benefits and our impression.

Pressure Test Results

We've pressure tested the iComfort CF3000  Hybrid Plush mattress with small, average and large body size people on their sides and on their back sleeping positions to see what kind of support and comfort you can expect. (Learn how we test.)

We expect this mattress to perform well during testing.  Come back often to see when we've posted our testing results.  Until then, it can be assumed that a super plush mattress like this will perform very well for most people.  It's not unheard of, however, for a very soft mattress like this to not be recommended for side sleepers, the larger-sized people, in particular, tend to not get the greatest comfort from a very soft bed.

Until we do update this review with our test results you can use the images below as an example of how a plush bed like this will perform:

Conclusion

This mattress is likely to be the softest of the soft in the iComfort collection amongst the 'CF' models. It's so soft that some people might find the comfort to be too plush depending on your comfort preferences. If you're thinking about purchasing this model you need to be aware of just how soft it is, think of it like sleeping on a cloud. For those who desire this super-soft, plush, comfy feel then this mattress would be a great fit for you.

The CF3000 Hybrid mattress pairs advanced cooling technology with a plush feel.  The Max Cold™ Cover is cool-to-the-touch, and the UltraCold System™ paired with Carbon Fiber Memory Foam works hard to absorb excess heat from your body and channel it away.  At the same time, the 1025 iComfort® Hybrid Support™ System with BestEdge® Foam Encasement supports every curve of your body, so you sleep comfortably.

The comfort materials also earned this mattress excellent pressure testing scores, earning it a 'recommended' score for all back sleepers. It also performed fairly well for side sleepers, though it only earned them 'good' scores. What this means is that the mattress will give most people exceptional back support for proper spinal alignment and pretty good pressure peak point relief.

This mattress is a great choice for someone who wants a super soft bed. As an all-foam mattress with multiple layers of cooling technology, this model is hard to beat. Priced around $1,800 for a queen-size, the CF3000 Hybrid Plush might be a little too spendy for some people. There are other options in the iComfort collection of 'CF' models that are a bit more affordable if that's the case. However, if the cost is no concern, then this model or one of the CF4000's might suit you well.
