The iComfort CF4000 Hybrid Firm mattress is the top-of-the-line firm model in the newest iComfort collection from Serta.
The CF4000 Hybrid Firm mattress is expected to be a medium-firm comfort rated a 3 on our 10 point Comfort Scale (a 1 is hard, 10 is softest.) A mattress with this comfort will work nicely for people who like a firmer feel, without it being too hard. If you don't like firm, try the plush option.

We'll pressure test the iComfort CF4000 Hybrid Firm mattress with small, average, and large body size people on their sides and on their back sleeping positions to see what kind of support and pressure relief you can expect. (Learn how we test.)
Our expectations for this mattress are that it will perform very well for back sleepers but not so well for side sleepers. People who sleep on their sides often experience an excess of pressure on their shoulders and hips while laying on a firmer feeling mattress.
Until we've completed our testing of the CF4000 Hybrid Firm you can use the sample image below as an idea of what a firmer mattress with memory foam like this will perform. Come back soon for updated information!

The CF4000 Hybrid Firm is one of two CF4000s at the top end of the iComfort Hybrid collection. While it's firmer than the CF4000 Hybrid Plush it's not overly hard. The three snowflakes stitched into the cover at the foot of the bed show you that this mattress has many layers of cooling materials. Try the plush option if a firm mattress does not work for you.
A layer of Carbon Fiber Memory Foam paired with the UltraCold Systemâ„¢ channels heat away from your body. More comfort is derived from the Deep Reactionâ„¢ Max Memory Foam. Serta's exclusive Air Supportâ„¢ Foam contours to your body and helps relieve aches and pain caused by pressure points. This premium plush mattress is one of the coolest sleeping iComfort models ever.
I don't make ridiculous money writing mattress reviews, I live paycheck to paycheck just like nearly everyone. This bed is a pretty expensive buy. That said, for anyone who wants a medium-firm comfort bed with all the trimmings, then this is one of the best mattresses you could get. If you still want one of these iComfort Hybrid models but can't afford the steep tab, check into one of the other models, the price swing is as large as $1,000!
