Pressure Test Results

We’ve pressure tested the Cassatt Luxury Ultra Firm mattress with different body sizes and sleeping positions to see what kind of support and comfort you can expect. (Learn how we test.) It tested surprisingly well for side sleepers. Even though it's firm, there aren't too many bad pressure points and it gives good support. For the larger side sleeper, you can start to see some pressure in the shoulder area (in red).

It didn't earn great scores for back sleepers, due to the lack of support. Although there are minimal pressure points, it does not push into the body enough to keep the spine aligned well. If you prefer a firm feel, you will likely run into this a lot and will have to decide whether your preference takes precedence over that.

Although we do not test for stomach sleepers, I'd expect it to be a good option since it's firm so you won't bow your back but it is plenty contouring so it'll be comfortable.
