Pressure Test Results

We'll pressure test the Gold Chill Hybrid Ultra Plush mattress with petite, average and large body size people on their sides and back sleeping positions to see what kind of support and comfort you can expect. I'd expect the Gold Chill to perform better than what we see in the example below because it has even more pressure relief. The below example is of the Silver Chill Plush. (Learn how we test.)

Conclusion

The Gold Chill is a high-end hybrid mattress from Sealy. It has one of the best support systems, as the Sealy Response Pro Zoned HD Encased Coil system does a great job on its own but is also helped by the ComfortFlex Unit, which is unique to the Gold Chill. The combination of the two provides very conforming support. And the zoning ensures that the lower back gets the right support. The DuraFlex Edge also enhances the support, as it keeps the bed feeling uniformly comfortable all the way to the edge, and creates a better sitting edge.

The pressure relief in this bed is set to be really great, with the high-quality foams and memory foam used. Hybrids tend to be great at pressure relief, and the Gold Chill is no exception. It'll keep you comfortable throughout the night, especially with the cooling characteristics it has. They should prevent you from overheating, so you won't be waking up with sore spots or from getting too hot.

It's a more expensive option, but if you have to budget to splurge for a premium hybrid mattress, you won't go wrong with the Gold Chill Ultra Plush. If you do want to look at some that are less expensive or maybe a different comfort level, you can read about the other hybrids by Sealy in our Sealy Hybrid Review.
