The Tempur-Pedic Pro Breeze Collection has two mattresses that came out in 2019. One is all-foam and the other is a hybrid (foam and spring combination) model. Both of the mattresses have a medium feeling of comfort so they're kind of in the middle, and not too hard or soft. They're higher-end models from Tempur-Pedic so they're top quality and expensive.

Tempur-Pedic Collections

Pro Breeze is part of the Breeze collection, one of four collections from Tempur-Pedic. You can view all the collection comparisons and details.

  1. Breeze (premium level, all-night cooling ability)
    • Luxe Breeze (sleep 8 degrees cooler with PureCool technology)
    • Pro Breeze (sleep 3 degrees cooler with PureCool technology)
  2. LuxeAdapt (premium level, new materials, advanced pressure relief-plus)
  3. Pro Adapt (new materials, advanced pressure relief)
  4. Adapt (original materials, pressure relief)

Type of Construction

Pro Breeze mattresses consist of one memory foam bed and one hybrid bed. These two beds are made with Tempur CM+ foam and Tempur PureCool+ phase change material The comfort layers provide a cushioning combination of materials for maximum comfort. The hybrid model has spring support under the foam layers.

Tempur-Pedic's Pro Breeze Collection - An Overview

Tempur-Pedic Pro Breeze mattresses are medium-feeling mattresses. One of the mattresses is all-foam and the other is a hybrid model that combines foam and spring construction. They both feature Tempur's new PureCool+ phase change material and Tempur CM+ foam, which are advancements in cooling and conforming technology. The hybrid model will give you a more traditional bouncy feel, compared to the all-foam model that's more enveloping. Both mattresses have been measured to lower the bed temperature by three degrees throughout the night. Lower temperatures give people a cool night's sleep.

The Pro Breeze has the Smart Climate Dual Cool Cover which is also available on the Adapt models.

More about Tempur-Pedic Brand

Tempur-Pedic created the memory foam mattress category here in the U.S. Founded in 1992, it grew and grew until it became a household name and got large enough to buy the Sealy Mattress Company. It's now a public company called Tempur-Sealy and sells mattresses worldwide.

There are two important points of differentiation vs other foam mattresses. First, Tempur-Pedic actually designs and manufactures foam components and mattresses. This speaks to their degree of expertise (most foam mattress brands buy components from suppliers).

Secondly, Tempur-Pedic has always created premium products. As in any industry, there are companies that make cheaply-priced, lower-quality products. Then there are those that make higher-quality, higher-priced products. Tempur-Pedic has always made high-quality mattresses using premium materials and manufacturing standards. The success of their mattresses and reputation for quality propelled their company to be the largest in the world.

Conclusion

Tempur-Pedic Pro Breeze mattresses are upper-end offerings from Tempur-Pedic. The two beds in this collection feature the newest Tempur material. The two medium-feeling mattresses offer a choice with an all-foam or a foam & spring hybrid model. This choice gives you the option of a bed that's deeply conforming (all-foam) to be more pressure-relieving and a bed that has more bounce like a traditional bed (hybrid).

Either model will appeal to most people since they are medium in how they feel - no matter what your sleeping position: back, side, or even stomach.

The two mattresses have the new Tempur CM+ foam and Tempur PureCool Phase Change material. These new features are better at conforming to pressure points and at cooling than earlier formulations. The main difference between the Pro Breeze, and the more expensive Luxe Breeze, is the cover and support foam. The Pro Breeze has the same cover on other models like the Adapt and Pro Adapt beds. This is the Smart Climate Dual Cool Cover. It's cool to the hand touch, and also works with the materials underneath to help keep you cool when you sleep. This feature is a big counter to the tendency of memory foam mattresses to sleep hot.

If you tend to be a hot sleeper and have the extra money for a premium new mattress then these two beds give you a choice that primarily comes down to if you like an all-foam or hybrid innerspring bounce.
