The Tempur-Pedic LuxeAdapt Series has two mattresses. One feels firm and the other is soft. Both models are all-foam and provide increased features (and pricing) over the very popular Pro Adapt Series.

TempurPedic’s LuxeAdapt Series - An Overview

The LuxeAdapt mattresses have the all-new Advanced Pressure Relief Plus (Tempur-APR+) material. This serves as the primary comfort memory foam layer. The APR+ foam provides increased performance over their existing materials. It improves body adapting comfort and reduces partner motion. To better explain the premium nature of the APR+ material, the "+" symbol is used, and the ProAdapt Series use Tempur-APR material (with no “+” designation).

In addition, the LuxeAdapt beds have the premium SmartClimate Dual Cover System. The cover is made of heavy-weight yarn and delivers a cool-to-the-touch sensation when you touch the cover. The cooling effect isn’t from nasty added chemicals; it actually comes from the physical properties of the heavy wool itself. It’s also removable and washable, making it very practical. 

These mattresses are 13” tall reflecting the increased amounts of Tempur-APR+ materials. Truly designed for the premium market, the mattresses are several thousand dollars. With both a firmer and a softer model, you can select the comfort you like if you want to spend top dollar for a premium model.

Delivery Method

Tempur-Pedic mattresses are sold in stores, online, and also directly from Tempur-Pedic. They’re heavy mattresses usually delivered by a retailer’s delivery team. In-home delivery is free, and so is the removal of your old mattress.

More About the Tempur-Pedic Brand

Conclusion Tempur-Pedic LuxeAdapt Series mattresses will appeal to most sleepers since they’re available in a neutral feeling firm or soft comfort.  Both mattresses use Tempur-Pedic’s latest TEMPUR-APR+ material. And both beds have extra amounts of foam so they’re taller and more luxurious compared to the ProAdapt Series beds. In fact, LuxeAdapt beds have 20% more TEMPUR material and are 30% more conforming than ProAdapt beds. These two mattresses are pretty expensive by any standard, even for a Tempur-Pedic. However, you're definitely getting more for your money. We found that both mattresses performed excellently in our testing. Both distributed weight and therefore created minimal pressure points under various body sizes and sleeping positions. In addition, they also provided proper back support. They each scored as high as possible. Based on our testing, and the feature value, we recommend them for purchase by those willing to pay a premium price.
